BOOKING & PAYMENT
HOW DO I CONFIRM MY BOOKING?
Once you’ve reviewed and are happy with the digital contract, a $50 retainer is required to secure your session date. The remaining balance is due on the day of the shoot.
WHAT IS YOUR RESCHEDULING AND CANCELLATION POLICY?
You may reschedule your session with at least 3 days' notice. Cancellations made within 1 day of the shoot may result in the forfeiture of your retainer. If you have any concerns or unforeseen circumstances, please don't hesitate to reach out so we can explore potential options together.
IMAGE RIGHTS & USAGE
CAN I SHARE THE PHOTOS ON SOCIAL MEDIA?
Yes, feel free to share and tag @momentsbyson. Your package includes personal usage rights.
WILL YOU USE MY PHOTOS ON YOUR WEBSITE OR SOCIAL MEDIA?
I may showcase your photos unless you request otherwise. Just let me know if you prefer to keep them private.

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR?
Neutral tones often complement each other beautifully and allow your personalities to shine. Your outfits should reflect your style and the story you want to tell. Coordinated looks work best—aim for harmony rather than matching exactly.
CAN YOU HELP US WITH THE PLANNING?
Absolutely! I’m here to collaborate on the creative process. Whether you have inspiration photos, Pinterest boards, or just a specific vibe in mind, I’ll help bring your vision to life.
CAN YOU HELP ME CHOOSE A LOCATION?
Yes! The location depends on the mood and story you want to capture. I can suggest some beautiful spots that will complement your style and the overall aesthetic of the shoot. It’s also worth considering a place that holds special meaning for both of you.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
I’m happy to travel within a 20 km radius of Melbourne CBD. For distances beyond this, additional travel fees may apply, but we can discuss the details.
DURING THE SHOOT
HOW LONG WILL THE SESSION TAKE?
Sessions typically last up to 1.5 hours, allowing plenty of time to capture a variety of shots.
WHAT TIME OF DAY IS BEST FOR THE PHOTOSHOOT?
I recommend scheduling outdoor shoots during the golden hours—either around sunrise or sunset—when the light is soft and flattering. Midday light can be harsh, so it’s best to avoid that time if possible.
WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can reschedule to a day that works for both of us. Availability may be limited due to other bookings, but I’ll do my best to accommodate.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
DO YOU OFFER RETOUCHING?
Yes, every photo is carefully edited to enhance the surroundings and evoke the desired emotions. I won’t alter your natural features, body, or clothing.
DO YOU OFFER RAWS?
I do not offer RAW files as they are unprocessed and don’t reflect the final, polished images I deliver. My focus is on providing high-quality, edited photos that align with my vision.
DO YOU DO WEDDINGS?
I don’t photograph weddings, but I’m passionate about capturing couple and pre-wedding/engagement moments. These sessions allow me to focus on telling your story in a more personal and creative way.
AFTER THE SHOOT
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY PHOTOS?
You’ll receive your beautifully edited images within 3 weeks via an online gallery.
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL I GET?
You’ll receive at least 50 edited images, but the exact number may vary. I focus on quality over quantity, ensuring each photo captures the true essence of your session.

WHAT IF I’M NOT HAPPY WITH MY PHOTOS?
Your satisfaction is important. If you have any concerns, please contact me within a week of receiving your gallery, and I’ll do my best to address them.
